I have always been connected to the Arts ... I trained at NIDA and had a career as an actor, then a career as a Drama, English & Media teacher. My work as an artist has no doubt been influenced by these two careers and has played out over two phases to date ... firstly from 2013-16 producing large contemporary/abstract acrylic paintings on cut down ex-theatre flats and secondly, from 2023 onwards working on A3 paper to create ink and pencil works. I put this transition down to necessity - downsizing resulting in less space to work!
I have sold pieces at various shows including Art Gippsland (2013) and the Camberwell Art Show (2014, 2015). |
