I have been on a journey of discovery with my art practice since completing my Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts in 2014. My genuine creative stimulus comes from the beauty of the natural environment and my artworks are spread between realism and abstraction using a variety of materials to express my emotional response to the landscape. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nQualifications: \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nAdvanced Diploma of Visual Arts 2014, Riverina Institute of TAFE \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nGroup Exhibitions: \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nAlbury Regional Art Gallery (MAMA) 2012 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nGIGs Fine Art Gallery, Gateway Island Wodonga, 2013, 2015, 2016 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nWodonga Art Space, Wodonga 2014 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nElvery Fine Art Gallery, Chiltern, 2015 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nAlbury Wodonga Art Society Paint Box Gallery, Gateway Island Wodonga 2016 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nCollaborations: \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nPoncho Army (Trina Collins) Stencil Art installation, Murray Art Museum Albury 2013 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nDeborah Kelly, No Human Being Is Illegal, Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA)  2016 \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nArt tutors who have influenced me through professional development courses undertaken: \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nColin Parry - Landscape oil painting and drawing 2004, John Wilson - Landscape oil painting, 2005 to 2015, Jeff Wright -Portrait and oil landscape painting 2014, 2015, Jo Bertini - Landscape acrylic painting 2014, Amanda Penrose-Hart - Landscape Oil painting 2015, Jo Davenport - Abstracting the landscape 2015, Anita Larkin - Collected Objects Sculptures 2016, Vicki Luke - Illustration for Commercial purposes 2016 |
