Julie specialises in realistic Water Colour landscapes, but has also worked in acrylics, with experience in photography and Ceramics, Sculpture and Textiles, as a result of her teaching art for 14 years with the Victorian Education Department.
Julie spent her childhood in the Victorian Wimmera and this reflects in her choices of landscape capturing the true feel and mood of the Australian landscape.
Julie has a Bachelors Degree in Education (Arts Major) from Victoria University, and lives with her family near the Werribee River .
She has studied painting under several leading Melbourne artists, and in Europe.
She exhibits in a number of shows and competitions annually, with her works held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
Julie is inspired to capture the unique light , the diversity and richness of colour of the Australian environment, and is committed to celebrate God’s creation through her work.
